Bolesław Penciak (1910–2006), graphic artist, illustrator, painter, printer. in 1926–1930 he studied at the School of Graphic Industry in Warsaw, then at Graphische Lehrund Versuchsanstaltz in Vienna. After the war, in 1946-1950 he continued his studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. He lectured at the School of Graphic Industry, and in 1947–1952 he was the director of the Printing House of Polish National Bank. He dealt with classical graphic arts and design, designed posters, books, practiced easel painting and sculpture.
