Jerzy Janiszewski

 

Jerzy Janiszewski (born March 11, 1952 in Płock) - Polish graphic artist, opposition activist in the communist period, creator of the "Solidarity" logo. In 1976 he graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Design of the State Higher School of Fine Arts in Gdańsk. Decorated with the Knight's Cross of the Order of Polonia Restituta (2006).
