Tadeusz Szumilas (born 1951). In 1966, he emigrated to the United States, attending Haaren H.S. and studied graphic design at the Parsons School of Design. He gained experience in Lubalin, Smith & Carnase Design Studio and in the Sudler & Hennessey advertising agency. He designed typography, book covers, packaging, and created visual identifications. In 1998–2008 he lectured in typography at the Pratt Institute in New York as a professor at the department of communication. Designer of several display typefaces.
