Kapibardo is a typeface inspired by Gothic inscriptions that can be found in Italy. These letterforms are sometimes referred to as lombardic capitals, whence the name of the project. Italian and East Slavic influences mix in the vertical rhytms and elegant shapes of the typeface. Numerous alternative characters allow for a modern or historicising character. It is the display font, dedicated to use in short, decorative texts. It has regular, bold and black weights and has the capabilites of a variable font.
