University Printing House in Krakow. It began when, in 1674, the Academy received the printing house of Piotrkowczyk as a donation. The specimen with the showcased examples was created in 1841, when Tomasz Szczurkowski took over the function of the provisional printing house, granted by the Academic Senate. The modernization of the plant began at that point. The ordinance was given, establishing the management of the printing house and organizing the process of educating young printers.
