Calligraphic, decorative italics of Hieronim Wietor. The typeface cut based on itallian handwritten style called cancellaresca bastarda. According to the custom of renaissance Italian printers the italic minuscule was accompanied by upright uppercase. The type was first used in Oratio pro Megalopolis by Demosthenes.
