Iwona is a variant of the Kurier typeface by Małgorzata Budyta from 1975 (see), in which Janusz M. Nowacki removed from the original pattern the gaps in the places where the lines were connected to form the letters (the so-called ink traps). The latest versions of Iwona, like the Kurier typeface, has 20 Regular and Narrow instances. The fonts are distributed free of charge under the GUST Font License (GFL).
