Digitization based on the typeface by Adam Półtawski, cast as metal type at the Warsaw foundry Jan Idźkowski i S-ka in 1931 (see). The authors of the fonts are members of the TeX System Users Group: Bogusław Jackowski, Janusz M. Nowacki and Piotr Strzelczyk. The source for the project was a set of prints from various sources and years, as well as graphic documentation of the Monotype Corporation - a producer of matrices for hot composition device. Antykwa Półtawskiego in 20 instances and its supplements with mathematical characters is distributed free of charge under the GUST Font License (GFL).
