A popular in Europe display typeface designed in 1973/74 by Bronisław Zelek, intended for transfer media (letraset type) by the French company Mecanorma. The most famous digitization of the New Zelek typeface with added Cyrillic characters was made by Aleksy Kustow in 1993 for the Moscow company Paratype. In 2018, the digitization and extension of the New Zelek typeface by Marian Misiak under the name New Zelek Pro was released.
