Franciszek Otto
Franciszek Otto (born in 1960), typographer, typeface designer. He graduated from the graphics department of the Academy of Fine Arts of Jan Matejko in Cracow. He completed his diploma in the book design studio under the supervision of Roman Banaszewski (1985). He is the winner of the third and fourth edition of the International Digital Type Design Contest organized by Linotype. Noteć (1999) and Brda (2003) were the awarded typefaces. In 2008 Linotype licensed another two of his typefaces - Waza and JP2. In 2017 Monotype released his typeface Wola.
