Olifant was designed in 2008 and it’s our first typeface that was used in a project and was later available for sell. We sent it to MyFonts in 2011 just to test how selling fonts work. The outcome was amazing and exceeded our expectations. This was the moment we realized that making fonts can be not only useful in our regular work, but also a viable side business. Olifant was originally created as a monospace font (all glyphs have the same width). We needed that kind of font for a project where letters stood directly above each other. Eventually it became proportional, and only the digits have a fixed width. You can buy it on MyFonts.
