Baccarat New FA is a sans-serif typeface family which is a contemporary revival of the Baccarat typeface made by the foundry Jan Idzikowski in Warsaw in 1922. The fonts of the Baccarat typeface were an adaptation of the Edel Grotesque typeface, made by this Warsaw foundry. Normal width variations were produced under the name Helios, and the name Baccarat concerned only wide styles. The digitised version was drawn from scratch, the letter forms as well as their proportions were improved. The Baccarat New FA family has additional weights and italics.
