In 1923 the graphic artist Ludwik Gardowski created a project of Polish typographic ornaments. Ornaments were cast the same year in the Warsaw Type Foundry of Stanisław Jeżyński. Eighty years later the forgotten project gained its vector form as an OpenType font.
