Tilman FA was designed especially for German artist Tilman Wendland’s individual exhibition “The Yellow Spot” shown in 2010 at CoCA in Toruń. Wendland's objects and installations are always determined by the space in which they are created, chosen material and the process of laborious work. The form of the typeface refers to the theory and work of Herbert Bayer, a creator close to the artist.
