Artur Frankowski
Typographer, designer of typefaces, book publications, graphic design of exhibitions and visual identification. Co-founder of the Fontarte design studio, operating on the border of visual arts and graphic design. Professor at the Faculty of Design of the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, where he runs the Design and Typography Studio. In 2004 he defended his doctoral dissertation at the Warsaw University of Technology, treating about the legibility of typefaces on maps. In 2013, he obtained his habilitation at the Faculty of Graphics of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, the topic of which was the relationship between lettering and typography of urban space and the workshop of a contemporary designer.
